Some things in life aren’t always what they appear to be, such is the same for fashion.
I recently had the pleasure of supporting my Creative Spirit Sisters Kelley “K-Fleye” Moseley and Suzette Opara as they showcased some of their latest creations during the “Illusions” fashion show. The event took place at the Silver Room in Wicker Park where attendees got a chance to shop and check out the art while Fathomdj filled the room with sound.
K-Fleye’s new couture leather jewelry collection, Illusions, was worn with designs from Opara’s 828 Collection in a variety of ways during three separate segments. What was once shown as a necklace on one model was later featured as a belt on a completely different outfit. The versatility of each design that K-Fleye creates is just part of the beauty of the accessory line that features earrings, cuffs, rings, belts and shoe decor.
